Really can't put into words how much you need to stop here while in Anchorage if you're into craft beer done well. And just saying well feels like an understatement. The staff and customers here were very friendly & welcoming. Even spoke with the owner Gabe & the fact that he took the time on a day as busy as it all speaks volumes of why he deserves all the success he has gotten. Look forward to my next visit for next year's A Deal With A Devil Day.

Great views and the beer is great too! Good variety on the tap list. The rooftop patio is awesome on a clear day, and the side patio with fire pits is a nice setup for conversation. Taproot and brewery is a a great place to stop and have a beer in a cool environment. Sit, hang out, have a few beers. The bartender is more than accommodating and let's you taste what you want. Great customer service! Even better brews!

Very cool location, great beers. Tried the be not afraid. It was good and refreshing after a long hike.
Be warned, the stairs to the rooftop bar are no joke for those who just hiked the flattops.
Great stop on a Monday evening. Was not busy at all. Outside area was closed but kids loved the barrel you could go in. Excellent beer. We will definitely be stopping by again.
